About Ancestries
The world of Tarim-Shaiel is home to several distinct ancestries, each shaped by the land, the empire that once ruled it, and the thousand years of silence that followed.
These ancestry descriptions are player-facing — they reflect what people in the world believe about themselves and each other. They may not be the whole truth.
Note for Players: Choose an ancestry that speaks to you. The mechanical features are summarized here; full Daggerheart rules are in the core book.
Choosing Your Ancestry
Consider:
- Where does your character come from geographically?
- How do they relate to their ancestral heritage?
- What assumptions does the world make about them?
